Adults and Children over 12:Nexium 24HR (Esomeprazole 20mg) can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day. Not for use on children under 12 years.
Children under 12 and over 18 years:Nexium 24HR should not be taken by children under 18 years.

We have had several times for the last 24 months. I had a very bad experience with my stomach when I was taking Nexium. I have been taking this medicine for more than 8 months and am on constant pain from the stomach for about 4 days now. I have never been more sick or bothered about it. I am also worried that I will have to take a medicine that is used for cancer treatment. I am not taking any of these pills to get me on the right track. I also have a very high dose of Protonix called Nexium that I take every day. I have a very high dose of acid reflux so I am constantly taking more than what I should, which I am doing on a regular basis. I have been prescribed acid reflux medication by my primary care doctor and have been taking it for about 3 months now. My doctor prescribed Nexium to me because I was suffering from acid reflux and it made me feel very uncomfortable, but I also wanted to help with the side effects of this medicine.
